Note to reporters: This event is not open to the media but interviews with a family who has experienced a loss can be arranged prior to this event.
Families who have lost a child are invited to attend a candlelight tribute on Sunday, December 4th at the Fort Collins Senior Center.
The event, hosted by 3Hopeful Hearts, will be divided into two non-denominational services. The 4:30 p.m. service is dedicated to families with a perinatal or early infant loss. The 6:30 p.m. service is dedicated to families who have lost a child of any age.
The annual Candlelight Tribute held in Fort Collins is intended to honor the very sacred relationship between parent and child - even in loss. This special event was created to give families the opportunity to honor the memory of their baby or child and to connect with other parents and families facing similar losses.
Both services will include a candlelight tribute, personalized slideshow, non-denominational readings, luminaries and light refreshments. Bereaved parents and families can find comfort as they honor their children during the holiday season.
Interested families are encouraged to register online at http://3hopefulhearts.com/p/candlelight-tribute.html. They can contact Betsy Strafach at hope@3hopefulhearts.com or 970.430.6136 with questions.
