Saladwich pocket with peach and yogurt
- 1 saladwich pocket
- 1 peach
- 6 oz. fat free or low fat yogurt
Saladwich Pocket
- 1 regular-size whole wheat pita
- 4 (1 oz.) slices turkey
- 4 (.75 oz.) slices reduced-fat American cheese
- 1 cup pre-bagged salad mix
- 2 tbsp. light ranch dressing (or your favorite light salad dressing!)
Put the pita on a cutting board. Slice the pita in half with a cutting knife. Into each half, stuff two slices of the turkey, two slices of the cheese and 1/2 cup of the salad. Wrap each saladwich well in plastic wrap or foil. Store the salad dressing in small, sealed containers - 1 tablespoon for each sandwich.
Just before you chomp down, drizzle your saladwich with dressing!
