Endocrinologist joins Colorado Health Medical Group
Colorado Health Medical Group is expanding endocrinology services in northern Colorado.
Dr. Gregory Hughes has joined the group and began seeing patients this week. With another endocrinologist, the medical group can now care for endocrinology patients in Greeley and has expanded appointment availability in Loveland.
Endocrinologists see people with diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary tumors and other hormonal disorders.
Dr. Hughes will join Dr. Barbara Widom, who has been caring for patients in northern Colorado for about 20 years. Dr. Hughes will see patients at both Greeley Medical Clinic, 1900 16th St., and Medical Clinic at Centerra, 2500 Rocky Mountain Ave., Loveland. Dr. Widom will continue to see patients at Prospect Medical Plaza, 1106 E. Prospect, Fort Collins, and Medical Clinic at Centerra.
Dr. Hughes received his medical degree in 1986 at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., and completed his residency and fellowship in internal medicine at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He also completed a fellowship in endocrinology diabetes and metabolism at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora.
