Colorado Health Medical Group welcomes interventional cardiologist Dr. Richard Markiewicz, and family medicine physician Dr. Joseph Kezeor.

Dr. Markiewicz joins one of the largest cardiovascular programs in the state. He treats a full range of heart conditions and has a special interest in minimally invasive cardiology procedures, cerebrovascular disease and endovascular disease. His care philosophy is communicating and connecting with his patients to provide individualized care.

“Communicating with my patients is my priority,” said Dr. Markiewicz. “I share with them video of their actual procedure and explain it so they understand. I enjoy helping people get back to their life.”

Dr. Markiewicz is part of a team of 27 board-certified cardiologists and cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons who serve patients throughout northern Colorado, southern Wyoming and Nebraska. Dr. Markiewicz began seeing patients Dec. 13 in Fort Collins at the Harmony Campus, 2121 E. Harmony Road, Suite 100.

He is board-certified and completed fellowships in interventional cardiology at East Carolina University and in cardiology at Mid-America Heart Institute. He earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

In addition, Dr. Kezeor joined Family Health Care of the Rockies and started seeing patients Dec. 13. He focuses on general health care for all people of all ages, and he likes to include patients in the decisions about their care.

“I care for all patients and help them take responsibility for their care,” said Dr. Kezeor. “Every day is a new opportunity for me to communicate with and educate my patients on how to stay healthy.”

Dr. Kezeor joins the team of board-certified physicians, Drs. Anneke Arrellano and Brienne Loy, in Fort Collins at 2121 E. Harmony Road, Suite 230.

He is board-certified in family medicine and completed his fellowship and residency and earned his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Prior to joining Colorado Health Medical Group, Dr. Kezeor practiced family medicine for five years in Nebraska.
