“I grew up in Eaton and married a girl from our rival school in Ault. I have great memories of cruising around the ‘D-block’ of downtown Greeley in my '57 Chevy back in my high school days.
I started working at Greeley Medical Clinic in 2007 as a maintenance specialist. I love a lot of things about working for GMC but it’s probably the patients I meet and the people who I work with that stand out the most.
The clinic has great history in Greeley and a good reputation. How we started out as this simple concept between a couple of doctors and ended up being the largest medical group in northern Colorado is really pretty incredible. It makes me proud to work here.”
Dr. Douglas Kemme
“When I first moved back to Greeley after medical school, the very space that I met my new colleagues was the same location where I was born – the old OB ward.
My children, Jordan and Madeleine, are now going to University High School, just like my wife and I did. We enjoy being part of the community by supporting the Greeley Philharmonic, NCMC Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club and much more.
I like being part of a medical group that works together to give our patients the very best care – locally and regionally."
“I’m a Greeley native whose family has been here forever. My grandmother opened Santeramo’s Pizza House in the early 60s. She retired and my uncle started up another Santeramo’s restaurant a few years ago. I worked for Greeley Medical Clinic in the late 90s until I decided to stay home and raise my daughters, Brittany and Payton.
In 2009, I jumped at the opportunity to come back to the clinic as a medical assistant for internist Dr. Michael Randle. It’s a great place to work. I love the way our doctors are so caring to both their employees and their patients.
We’re like a big family here and it’s great to be a part of that.”
“I was born and raised in Greeley, graduated from University High School, and then moved away for awhile. I came back to Greeley in 2003 with my daughters, Lexi and Cheyenne. I met and married Dr. Michael Stone and we have blended our families. Greeley is a great place to live and we have been very happy here.
I started working as an administrative coordinator and credentialer at GMC in 2004 and love what I do. I feel valued at GMC and like serving as a resource for people who need help at our clinic.
I like the fact that whenever possible, Greeley Medical Clinic doctors continue to give patients a choice of what hospital they want to go to, be it Greeley or anywhere else. I think that’s important to people.”
“When my late-husband George and I married, he had three children, I had three and eventually we had two together. All eight of them still live in Greeley, as do my 10 grandchildren. We like living here. It’s the kind of place where people still say hi to you in the grocery store.
In addition to my job as the #1 sports fan of my teenage sons, Jordan and Tanner, I am a patient care manager for Greeley Medical Clinic.
I started working at the clinic when I was just 18 years old and have come to know the people I work with as part of my family. My co-workers are cheerful and happy and always know what our patients’ needs are and how to take care of them.
Everywhere you go in our clinic, you have options – for lab, X-ray, providers and even hospitals, be it Greeley or anywhere else. I like being part of that.”
“I moved to Greeley in 1973 and now live here with my husband of 15 years. Together we have four children and 10 grandchildren. We like the small-town atmosphere of our community and the proximity to the big-city amenities we crave from time to time.
I’ve worked for Greeley Medical Clinic for over 25 years and enjoy the people I work with and the patients we serve. We have a great group of doctors here who truly care about their patients. Their quality shows up in the number of referrals we get.
We have many families in which we’ve done surgeries for the mom, dad, uncle, daughter…the list goes on and on. It makes me feel good that they have trusted us with their care and that we could make them comfortable in a stressful time.
You really get to know people here and I like that.”
Dr. Daniel Zenk
“My wife, four children and I enjoy living in Greeley. The thing I love best about being an internal medicine doctor at Greeley Medical Clinic is the way patients allow me into their lives. They want to know more about me at each visit. They ask how my kids are doing in basketball and how I am doing personally.
Better yet, my patients give me the honor to know more about them. It’s nice to look at my schedule each day and see patients I have worked with for nearly 20 years.
Good medicine is about ongoing relationships. We see that a lot here at Greeley Medical Clinic.”
