Gastrointestinal care centers
At Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies, our GI centers provide diagnostic and treatment services for persons who have gastrointestinal disorders. Other special testing and treatment services are available for outpatients and inpatients.
Common procedures include diagnostic GI procedures such as gastroscopies, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies and ERCP. The center's staff also provides assistance with other procedures such as bronchoscopies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and volume flow studies.
At PVH, the Center for GI and Special Procedures (CGSP) is located on the lower level (basement) directly below the main entrance. CGSP is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for scheduled and on-demand appointments, as well as for urgent needs.
At MCR, the GI Lab is located on the second floor, check in at the Surgery and GI waiting room. The GI lab is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for scheduled and on-demand appointments, as well as for urgent needs. Contact us at: 970.624.2028.
When the center is not open, gastroenterologist physician, an RN, and a GI tech are on call.
