Neurosurgery
The Neurosciences Center provides surgical treatment for stroke, brain disorders, traumatic head injuries, and spine, lower back and neck disorders.
Neurosurgical procedures include lower back surgery, laminectomy, discectomy, decompression laminectomy, lumbar fusion, and surgery for peripheral nerve disorders.
Frameless stereotactic technology
Neurosurgeons perform brain and spine surgeries and biopsies using "image-guided" computer equipment which includes a surgical microscope and precise computerized analysis.
Neurodiagnostic laboratory
The Neurosciences Center offers sleep studies and other neurological research using such technologies as MRI, CT scan, X-rays, and electrical-activity testing. The Neurodiagnostic Lab is located at Mountain Crest Behavioral Healthcare Center.
Neurorehabilitation program
To help you understand your brain and spine injury and surgery, and to put you on the road to recovery, the Neurosciences Center has a team of physicians, nurses, physical, occupational, speech, and music therapists, a social worker, and other healthcare professionals.
