Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Services
The Plastic and Reconstructive surgery team at Poudre Valley Health System performs both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
Reconstructive Plastic Surgery which is performed on abnormalities that may have been caused by trauma, inherited defects or disease. This type of surgery is usually performed to improve function, but may also help to approximate a normal appearance.
Cosmetic Surgery which is performed to repair or reshape otherwise normal structures of the body, generally to improve appearance.
These are a few examples of procedures that the surgeons perform:

Blepharoplasty, a procedure that restores or repairs the eyebrow and eyelid.

Scar revision.

Skin procedures including dermabrasion, removal of superficial scars on the skin.

Body procedures including liposuction, removal of excess fat deposits.

Breast procedures including enlargement, reduction, lift.
The Cleft Clinic cares for children who need cleft lip and cleft palate surgery or cleft lip and cleft palate revisional surgery.
