Chemical Dependency Outpatient Program

Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program

Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an evening group of 10-12 people recovering from a drug or alcohol addiction.

The program is a total of 24-26 sessions over an eight week timeframe.  The group focuses on education, skill building and processing. Family groups are included once per week. Graduates from IOP can participate in our continuing care group at no cost.  The group meets each week on Wednesday nights.

Why Groups?
Group therapy is the treatment modality of choice for chemical dependency.  Research shows it is the most effect type of treatment for those in recovery.

Does insurance pay for the program?
Yes.  Most commercial insurances have a benefit for substance abuse treatment. Contact the insurance company for information about eligibility.  We also accept self-pay clients.  Contact us for current rates.

Is IOP right for me?

  • IOP patients have a desire to stop using drugs and alcohol and a willingness to participate in the program.
  • IOP patients desire to learn how to cope with life effectively and without relying on substance use.
  • IOP patients desire to learn about the disease of addiction and the impact it has on life in recovery.

What is the first step?
The first step is to call for an assessment.  One of our therapists will sit down with you to get some information and help to decide if IOP is right for you.
