Dr. Schuster recently joined University of Colorado Health after completing his fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at Mayo Clinic Arizona. Prior to his specialty training at Mayo Clinic, he graduated from medical school at the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Dr. Schuster's research has led to many publications on the treatment of patients with blood cancer and the use of genetic information in cancer care. He has been invited to speak at many local and national professional meetings.

He has been recognized with various awards including selection as a finalist for the American Journal of Hematology's Young Investigator Award, a 2012 American Society of Hematology (ASH) abstract achievement award and selection as a consultant for the American Society of Hematology's Consult a Colleague program.

He is currently directing the hematology malignancy program at UC Health in Fort Collins. He treats patients with all types of cancer, focusing on the treatment of blood cancers. He is also active in the research department at UCHealth.

"My primary goal is to provide world class patient care, so joining University of Colorado Health's team, who share this philosophy, is a great fit," said Dr. Schuster. "I strive to provide personalized treatment plans to all of my patients and will continue to pursue research to support new and better treatment options."

The Aspen Club is excited to have you meet Dr. Schuster at his two fall presentations.
